Our Mission The mission of the Ottawa County Democratic Party is to elect Democrats at all levels of government through grassroots efforts. We believe we can accomplish our mission by being an active and positive presence in the county. We will give all Democrats in this county an opportunity to be involved in politics. Our Vision The Ottawa County Democratic Party believes in the words of Will Rogers, Jr., “We will never have true civilization until we have learned to recognize the rights of others.” We believe true civilization can be accomplished by protecting individual rights, civil liberties, and our environment, and by promoting social and economic justice for all. Our vision is that through our efforts, the leaders and people of this country will come together to achieve true civilization.
